Music Major has been named one of five finalists: 2012 Gillet-Fox Competition

Bogdan Dumitriu, CSU junior and student of Dr. Ron Wirt, has been named one of five finalists selected by an international jury to compete in the 2012 Gillet-Fox Competition, sponsored by the International Double Reed Society. A previous winner of the Woodruff Award and the LaGrange Symphony Young Artists Competition, Bogdan serves as principal bassoonist with the LaGrange Symphony while studying full-time at CSU. The final round of the competition will be held at the Society's annual conference, July 7-11 in Oxford, OH.
